WHAT’S THE COST TO ENTER?

The Sedona Taphouse Oktoberfest is a FREE event! You can enjoy the performances at no cost. Drink tickets will be available for purchase, and food and merchandise will be available for sale.

IS THERE ANYTHING I CANNOT BRING WITH ME?

Items that are not permitted include, but are not limited to, coolers, large backpacks, alcohol, outside food, contraband (drugs and weapons) and flying objects (drones, kites, etc).

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN

Sedona Oktoberfest is a Rain or Shine event. The event will only be cancelled due to severe weather.

RESTROOMS

Portable restrooms are located on the west end of the field.

YOUR PRESENCE IS YOUR PERMISSION

Sedona Taphouse will be photographing the event; some images may be used in later promotional materials. Your presence at the event is seen as your permission for such promotional use.

LOST PEOPLE

If a child or person in your party gets lost, please approach a volunteer or staff. They will get you in touch with volunteers who have access to radios, who can get you help quickly.

HURT PEOPLE

If a child or person in your party is hurt, First Aid kits are located at the welcome booth, as well as the Sedona Taphouse food truck.

PAYMENT

Our drink ticket booth and the Sedona Taphouse Food Truck have the ability to accept credit card or cash payments. Payment options will vary for other vendors and food trucks. There are three banks located in the Westchester Commons Shopping Center (Bank of America, Truist and Wells Fargo) with access to ATMs.

IDS FOR ALCOHOL

If you wish to consume alcoholic beverages, you will be asked to present a valid photo ID – regardless of age. We do this to ensure that our consuming guests are of legal age, in compliance with state law. Drink tickets must be purchased in order to consume alcoholic beverages.

DOGS WELCOME

Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome! Please pick up after your furry buddy. Water bowls will be provided at the event, however we encourage you to bring your own.

LAWN CHAIRS & BLANKETS

Lawn chairs and blankets are permitted on the lawn in front of the stage. We will have a tented Beer Garden for attendees to enjoy the music and food. Personal chairs are not permitted in the Beer Garden.

FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT

Kids may enjoy our face painter, lawn games, inflatable basketball, Kerplunk, coloring, and more!

RAFFLES

Several raffles will be held throughout the event. You must be present to win.

OUTSIDE FOOD/BEVERAGE PROHIBITED

Outside food and/or beverage is prohibited.

OUTSIDE ALCOHOL

Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.

PARKING

There is ample parking at Westchester Commons. However, there is only one entrance to the event located by NAPA Kitchen and Wine.

WILL THE EVENT ONLY HAVE BEER?

We will also have wine, meads, and soft drinks available for purchase!

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY

The entrance to the event is a ramp leading to the field. The field is grassy and flat.

MAY I USE MY STEIN?

We will pour your beer into our plastic event cups; you may transfer it to your stein if you wish. We will not pour beer directly into your stein.

WHAT’S A STEIN HOLDING CONTEST?

Stein holding is a traditional Bavarian strength contest in which competitors hold a full one-liter beer stein (or Masskrug/Mass in German) out in front of their bodies with a straight arm, parallel to the ground. You go as long as you can and the last person holding with good form is the winner. We will have three contests throughout the event with prizes! To sign up, visit the ticket booth.

WILL THERE BE SHADE?

We will have two large tents covering our Beer Garden, as well as a couple of tables for people to sit and enjoy the event.

ARE DRINK TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

No, drink tickets are not refundable.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED?

No. Smoking is not permitted inside the event fence. Please step outside of the event fencing if you wish to smoke.

LIVE MUSIC

We will start with authentic German music and dancers at 11AM, and then transition to a rocking 70s, 80s & 90s band called Rabble Rousers at 3PM!

September 25th, 2022 from 11am to 6pm.

WHAT IS THE EXACT LOCATION?

West Chester Commons Midlothian VA – 15825 WC Main Street Midlothian, VA 23113. The event will be held in the concert series field, beside NAPA Kitchen and Wine.

WHAT ARE THE PARKING ARRANGEMENTS AND DIRECTIONS?

It is a first come first serve parking lot. There are many options all throughout the shopping center.

ARE THERE ANY ORGANIZED SHUTTLES?

No – if parking far away please be prepared to walk. There is ample parking within a short distance to the festival.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

No shoes, no shirt, no service! This is an outdoor event so please come dressed appropriately.

WHAT FOOD WILL BE SERVED AT THE EVENT?

We will have many different food trucks at the event ranging from German inspired food, gourmet French fries,
“fair” food, empanadas, Venezuelan food, cupcakes, and charcuterie. There will be options to accommodate both vegan and gluten free diets.

WHEN & WHERE CAN I BUY MY TICKETS?

This is a FREE event! However, we will be selling beer and wine tickets at the festival.

CAN I USE SEDONA TAPHOUSE GIFT CARDS FOR THIS EVENT?

Unfortunately no, only credit card or cash is accepted at this event.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

The event is open to everyone! Family friendly games and other fun activities will be offered for all ages. To consume alcohol, you will have to be 21+ in accordance with state law. IDs will be checked regardless of age.

CAN I PRE-PURCHASE TICKETS?

You are able to preorder bulk drink tickets up to a week before the event at www.sedonataphouseevents.com. September 18 will be the last day to preorder any drink tickets. Tickets will be available to pick up the day of the event at the ticket booth. ID will be checked at that time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS?

Vendors will be reimbursed and those who pre-ordered drink tickets will be refunded.
